Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful details for neighbors, meal makers, and anyone who wants to support Kitchen Collective 2C.

When and where are meals shared?

Meals are shared on Saturdays at 5:30 PM at Lloyd’s Square in Nampa. The goal is simple: offer warm, homemade food to neighbors with care, consistency, and dignity.

Who can receive a meal?

Anyone who would benefit from a hot meal is welcome. Meals are free, no questions asked, and there is no paperwork or eligibility requirement.

What should meal makers prepare?

Meal makers are encouraged to prepare food they genuinely enjoy cooking or eating. Meals do not need to be fancy; they should be filling, comforting, and easy to eat from a to-go container.

How many portions should I make?

Each meal maker is asked to prepare about 8 to 12 individual portions. If you want to make more or need help with containers, delivery, or planning, reach out before Saturday.

Can I help if I do not cook?

Yes. Support can include bottled drinks, packaged snacks, fruit, vegetables, hygiene items, over-the-counter supplies, donations, delivery help, or simply spreading the word.
